Cucumbers are funky sometimes! I grow them too and once in a while, (and sometimes through outside forces like your netting)they do form in strange shapes!

Very ducky. It reminds me of those veggies that people put in bottles and jugs and boxes to get certain shapes. That might be an experiment your kids would enjoy.
It does look like a duck. The one I pulled out of the fence broke in half. We got it eaten before it could spoil.
