To help me plan for this coming gardening season, I am going through some of my pictures from last year. Here is a picture of the Long Border from last summer. The Long Border is the name of the border in the backyard between the Children's Garden and the Walled Garden. The Long Border is made of perennials, shrubs and grasses with peak interest in late summer.

I am also in zone 6b. It is funny that I think of NJ as being so much colder than it is here yet you are in the same zone. Maybe I just think that because you are so far away and it appears on a map that you are further north. Hmmmm
I will look forward to seeing how your gardens develop.

I have been looking for about 3 years for the name of the delicate pink japanese iris that you have! I bought it at Matterhorn about 3-4 years ago, and everyone loves it and asks me what it is called! The tag is long gone...can you help me out and identify the name of it? Thank you so much!
