Aren't the seedheads great?
I have Gravetye Beauty and it is a gorgeous deep red small flower .. seed heads are always interesting !
I love that all the stages of a plants life cycle are so beautiful.
still looks good even "at the end of the line" good luck in the contest!
There is something about the form of the clematis seed head that is just so cool. Great photo, too.
I think it is interesting how hard it is to actually find the real end of the line in a garden, so often the end is merely the beginning of another cycle.
