i live in nw nj - sussex co. with deer etc by the bunch - haven't tried tulips but do have good luck with "deer solution" even works on impatients - daughter and son live in chatham - would love to see your yard etc etc - rheafountain@earthlink.net
So, I do not actually believe it is likely to work.
