A lovely representation of spring flowers. What is the tree blooming yellow in first photo?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the garden tour, HG. You have a lot going on right now. Happy Bloom Day!
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty pictures...all of them! The pink viola is so cute...

Dear Frances,
ReplyDeleteThe first yellow tree blooming is a Cornelian Cherry dogwood. I love its elegance and grace in shaded areas. I did not plant it; it was a gift from nature.

It's interesting that your zone 6 garden is not that far ahead of my zone 5 garden.
ReplyDeleteAnd isn't nice when nature gives a plant we love, now and again, like the Cornelian Cherry dogwood.
Thanks for joining in for bloom day.
Carol, May Dreams Gardens
Very fine pictures of spring day.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it on the second last pictures?
Is it evergreen?
regards Ken
Piondrom,
ReplyDeleteThe second to last picture is an evergreen andromeda shrub - pieris japonica.
