I love Ballerina, I got my plant in my garden at the house in Florida from the Antique Rose Emporium, as a freebee. I didn't think much of it when I first planted it, but have really come to appreciate it. It blooms its little pinkish flowers in clusters that come out repeatedly, and takes all kinds of punishment, and is really disease-free in a very hot, humid and buggy environment. It seems like it bears up under cold winter weather as well, as shown in your pictures, in addition to putting forth lovely little red hips. Ballerina is a survivor and a lovely one at that. Thanks for sharing..
A belated Merry Christmas HG and a Happy New Year. I bet your house rocks filled with children for the holidays. I remember those years. Some times to be treasured.
Merry Christmas to you too :) I hope that you and your family enjoyed the holidays...

Lovely pic! I found some of these growing alongside a field in our neighborhood - will have to pick more next time I walk the dogs!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
A belated Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I am going to enjoy returning to see what heirloom veggies you have found.
