As I've written about in some of my prior posts, I have been trying to improve the appearance of my garden in winter. Part of this improvement includes appreciating the beauty that is already there, such as the large, mature hydrangea at the top of Goldberry Hill. The form and color of the bare stems have a beauty all their own.
It's amazing how beautiful your hydrangea is even in the winter, I can hardly wait for spring :). I've enjoyed reading your blog, your home and gardens are so beautiful, thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteImproving winter interest is a worthwhile goal (& 1 I share). It's great that you don't have to cover & protect that Hydrangea & instead can enjoy its winter silhouette.
